Boot Room
The Inspiration...
The brief for this boot room sited in a rural village in Nottinghamshire, was to provide practical storage solutions with a wow factor. Tall double units to the far left and right provide ample space for coats for this family of 4, while the two tall angled units house shoes for all! Although this house was built not too long ago, it has many Georgian inspired features such as high ceilings and sash windows. We wanted to make a feature of the stunning window with a bench seat below, tongue and groove boarding around and a mantle with warm lighting above. Making this space not only practical but aesthetically pleasing too.
