The Inspiration...

The perfect country cottage kitchen; low ceilings, exposed stone walls and many more quirky features to work around. This project was located on the outskirts of the stunning market town of Stamford in Lincolnshire, the customers wanted to update their old pine kitchen with something a little more practical but still very much in keeping with the period of the property. As always, we worked with the confines of the space and created a country kitchen that worked perfectly for them. We added in a false chimney surround to house the extractor above their existing La Canche range cooker, a traditional Belfast sink under the window, a breakfast cupboard to house the toaster and amble storage for crockery, a larder unit for all their food storage and small island with seating for 2 people. Incorporating all this into a relatively small space, once again, highlights the beauty of designing bespoke kitchens.
