Newfield Farm
The Inspiration...
The owners of this stunning farmhouse kitchen are two young professionals who travel an awful lot with work. They wanted a bright, light kitchen to welcome them home from their many travels. The original kitchen was a very dark space, with black beams, a brick chimney surround, dark brown wooden windows and dark painted units. The transformation to what it is now is incredible. The brick chimney surround was removed and we designed a new surround with shaped supports so as not to cut the light out from the windows either side. Painting the beams and windows white, using a light colour for the bespoke kitchen cabinets and the use of a Quartz worktop that replicates White Carrara Marble, has completely transformed not only the look of the space, but the feel of it too. All of the main storage was designed along one wall, keeping the rest of the kitchen free of wall units, maintaining a light, airy and open feel. The customers now have a beautiful space to cook and entertain when home from their busy work schedules.
