Welton House

The Inspiration...

Having lived in their home for just over a decade, the owners of this stunning property in rural Lincolnshire, decided to transfer a pool room that didn't get much use, into a fabulous space, perfect for their family life and love of entertaining. The island is, of course, the focal point in this large living space. A great expanse, created with 2 areas for seating, one end with bar stools for occasional meals and drinks and the other banquet seating built into the corner of the island, allowing the option for table seating too. Two freestanding pieces have also been designed at either end of the room. The kitchen end; a breakfast cupboard, and the soft seating end; a stunning drinks unit, perfect for those social occasions. A bespoke false mantle was created as a stunning backdrop to the island, housing an induction hob, antique mirrored splashback and extractor, with eye level ovens on either side. There are also double doors to the left that lead through to a hidden pantry, and a beautiful window seat framing a beautiful view of the garden. A real hub of the home....
